HERE'S HOW:
1. CHOOSE YOUR NATURAL SHADE - THE 1 st COLOUR IN YOUR MIX
From the Herbatint shade chart, look at the natural colours which range from 1N (Black) to 10N (Platinum Blonde). Find the number that matches your natural shade, looking at the colour of your roots.
2. ADJUSTING YOUR LOOK - CHOOSE THE 2nd COLOUR IN YOUR MIX
Add to your natural colour another shade chosen among the Copper (R ), Golden (D), Mahogany (M) or Ash (C ) series that is the same level or lighter than your natural colour.
3. MIX THE TWO SHADES AND BRING YOUR HAIR ALIVE WITH SUBTLE LIGHTS
Having chosen your Herbatint Mix, get mixing the two shades, following these simple steps.
Start with the roots. 1st MIX: combine 40 ml of your Natural shade with 20 ml of the R/D/M/C series colour you’ve selected (40ml+20ml=60 ml of colour) with 60 ml of developer. The colour to developer ratio must always be 1:1. Apply the mixture on your roots. Let it process for 30 minutes. Now for the rest of your hair. 2nd MIX: mix the remaining 20 ml of the Natural shade with 40 ml of the R/D/M/C colour you’ve selected (20ml+40ml=60 ml of color) with 60 ml of developer. Apply the mixture throughout the length of your hair. Let it process for 10 minutes. Total processing time (roots + lengths): 40 minutes At the end of processing time, wash your hair and style as usual! Your hair is soft and healthy, the colour is made for you!
