PPD (p-Phenylenediamine) is a colouring agent commonly used in permanent hair dyes. Herbatint uses a very low concentration of pharmaceutical-grade PPD (where needed) to ensure grey coverage and lasting results. The amount used is well within EU-approved safe limits.
